VMCC Discounted Ferry Deals to the Isle of Man

The IOM Steam Packet Company has offered discounted rates to VMCC members attending the rally in 2010. Click here to download a PDF of all prices and accommodation offers.  Rates are subject to availability so book early and quote "VMCC Offer" to avoid disappointment.

These ferry only fares are available for travel to the island on Wednesday 25th and Thursday 26th of August.

Return sailings must be completed on Wednesday 1st, Thursday 2nd or Friday 3rd of September – those that wish to may also return after the peak weekend starting on Monday 6th September.

All fares and package prices are subject to availability, so please ask your membership to book early.

The above fares may also be available on other days during the Grand Prix period but are strictly subject to availability. It would be prudent to point out that anyone travelling on peak days during MGP will probably have to pay the standard fare, please ask your membership to check at the time of booking.

As our booking system for 2010 was opened on Friday last there is a possibility that early bookers may get one of the limited ferry only special offers which may be cheaper than the rates quoted here. As I indicated during our meeting we are keen to stimulate additional bookings during the MGP period so it is likely that more offer places are available on the off peak sailings than were available in previous years. These rates will only be available on line or through the Call Centre on 08722 992 992 and not through Steam Packet Holidays.

The rates that I have quoted are guaranteed and include fuel surcharges but are obviously subject to space availability on the ferry whereas the ferry only special offers will be limited – my advice to your members would be for them to take advantage of the cheapest fare.

A fuel surcharge is now payable in 2009, the current charge is £10 per person return and this is included in the rates shown above.
